He finally said it. The words I have waited for in dread. The 3 syllables that send any mommy into a swirling, teeth clenching, eyebrow furrowing pit of despair.
I
hate
you.
Holden said this to his sweet aunt Sara this evening. I realize he has no clue how gut wrenching those words are, but it is still so ugly.
My little angel turns out to be human.

Ouch! Ainsley hasn't learned the word hate, but does says, "I don't like you" and that just breaks me every time. In the mornings she doesn't like daddy and in the evenings its mommy she doesn't like. I hope dislike doesn't turn to hate :(
He is smart, but he can't possible know it's meaning. He was telling her he was mad at her. He knows happy, sad and mad. Wherever he has picked up the words (school? when someone was angry? and said it?)he relates it to mad being mad...
